QuizMindAI ("the App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and handled when you use the App.

• Scanned documents and images captured by the user
• PDF files imported by the user
• Extracted text from documents via OCR technology
• AI-generated summaries and quiz content

All documents, summaries, and quiz data are stored locally on your device unless explicitly shared by the user.

2. Camera Access

The App requires camera access to scan documents and notes. The camera is activated only when the user explicitly initiates a document scan. No photos or videos are captured without your consent.

3. Photo Library Access

The App may request access to your photo library to import PDF documents. Access is only used for the specific files you choose to import.

4. AI Processing

To provide features such as document summarization and quiz generation, extracted text data may be sent to third-party AI services (such as Google Gemini or OpenAI). No personal identifiers are intentionally included in these requests. Only the document text content is processed.

5. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect anonymous usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Storage

All scanned documents, summaries, quizzes, and user data are stored locally on your device using CoreData. The App does not provide cloud sync or remote storage. Your data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

7. Data Sharing

The App does not sell or share personal data with third parties, except where necessary to provide core features such as:

• AI processing for summaries and quiz generation
• Advertising through Google AdMob

No personally identifiable information is shared with these services.

8. User Control

Users have full control over their data:

• Delete documents, summaries, and quiz history at any time from within the app
• Remove bookmarks as needed
• All deletions are permanent and cannot be recovered

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data stored on your device. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
